U.S. House Passes a Bill Aimed at Reducing Abortions

(Washington, DC)—CBN News reports that the U.S. House of Representatives has recently passed a 647 million dollar measure that aims to reduce the need for abortions in the country.

The Reducing the Needs for Abortions initiative, put together by Representatives Tim Ryan of Ohio and Rosa L. DeLauro of Connecticut, hope to bring both sides of the abortion debate together to discuss ways to effectively reduce the need for them. The measure is part of the yearly Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education Appropriations bill for the Fiscal Year 2008. (Photo: CBN News)
