United Nations hears testimony on abortion...

Women Testify at United Nations of the Pain and Destruction Abortion Has Caused Them
"Induced abortion is the greatest crime against women and children in this generation."
Denise Mountenay/AH (Mar 5th, 2007)
A group of women from across Canada who know the pain and experience of abortion firsthand, are speaking out at the UN this week. Melony, Lorraine, Evelyn, Maria and Denise, each have their own devastating story about negative impact abortion has had on their lives and bodies. They are participating in a workshop at the United Nations' 51st Conference on the Status of Women (CSW) in NY, on March 6th, 2007. This workshop entitled, Breast Cancer & Reproductive HEALTH features Dr. Angela Lanfranchi, a Breast Cancer Surgeon and Joel Brind, PhD, co-founders of the Breast Cancer Prevention Institute. The priority theme for the 2007 CSW is The Elimination of all forms of discrimination and violence against women.
This team of women—from Canada Silent No More an outreach to post-abortive women across Canada—believe that, "Induced abortion is the greatest crime against women and children in this generation," according to Denise Mountenay, Founder and President heading up the workshop. "Our mission is to expose the lies and rhetoric of the abortion advocates and providers, and help educate and empower women on the benefits of motherhood."
"Many studies prove that abortion damages women physically and emotionally yet are ignored by the government, media and our culture," says Mountenay. The team of women has experienced abortion and count themselves as expert witnesses to the physical, emotional and psychological pain and suffering that abortion causes. Lawsuits against abortion doctors will follow in a wave of accountability to doctors who have maimed and crippled women for years after.
Millie Lace (Arkansas), Licensed Professional Counselor and Director of the National Helpline for Abortion Recovery, says that if CSW is truly pro-woman and truly wants to protect women, they should call upon governments to protect girls (and boys) from the moment of conception.
The team of leaders is sponsored by the Endeavor Forum, Inc., an NGO based in Australia. Women for Life International an umbrella organization co-founded by Molly White, from Texas and Denise Mountenay, are confident that as more and more women share their pain from abortion that CSW will call upon governments to strengthen their laws and enforcement against sex selected abortion, and sexual exploitation of women and girls. If action is taken today, then we can stop this global movement of violence and discrimination against women and children.

What is a Rumble?
A Rumble, combines worship, music, & corporate intercession with the focus of ending abortion. Sometimes we weep as our hearts break for the aborted, those endangered, & wounded mothers&fathers; other times we celebrate the victory of Jesus through his life, death, resurrection, & ascension to heaven, the eternal victory that fuels our faith. Freedom of expression is always in the house....so come out, be filled with the Holy Spirit, & add your faith to ours for the manifestation of abortion's end, in Jesus name!
